I bought the Peacock Tealight Holder on a whim during Diwali 2024, honestly just because it looked beautiful in the photo. I wasn’t expecting much.
The first evening I lit a tealight inside it, I actually called my husband to come look. The shadow patterns on the wall, these intricate peacock-eye shapes projected across the paint, were unlike anything I’d seen from a decorative object. We ended up sitting in that room for the whole evening without turning on the overhead lights.
I’ve moved twice since then (Bengaluru relocation, then a home upgrade). The Peacock holder has been wrapped carefully and carried personally every time. The movers have been instructed not to touch it. It’s currently on a low cabinet in our living room, and it still does the same thing with candlelight every time.
I’ve since bought three more Premloom pieces, the Jharokha, the Mini Motu for my husband’s desk, and the Marble Elephant for the entrance. But the Peacock holder started it all.
