I live in a fairly modern apartment. Most of my furniture is Scandinavian/minimalist. I’ve always wanted to incorporate Indian craft but everything I looked at felt either too touristy, too loud, or too performatively ethnic.
The Feather Glow is none of those things. It’s a piece of metal in the shape of a feather with LED lighting behind it. It’s beautiful in a way that doesn’t announce itself. When people notice it, they ask “is that new?” not “is that Indian?”
The warmth it adds to the bedroom wall at night is exactly what I was looking for, genuine warmth, the kind of light that makes a space feel inhabited and intentional.
I’ve since bought the Peacock Light for the living room. Same principle: beautiful, present, not performatively ethnic. That’s the balance I’ve been looking for.
