Owls turn up all over Rajasthani carving. These are the wax version, and they are as much ornament as candle.

About the Craft

Hand poured in soy wax in Rajasthan, two colours from the same mould. Every feather is cut into the mould, which is why the surface still reads as feathers once the top has melted down.

Burning It Safely

Trim the wick to about 5 mm before each burn
Burn for two to three hours at a time, on a heat-safe surface
