About the Craft

Hand poured in Thane in two-tone soy wax. The robe is tinted rose, the head and hands are left in an unpigmented cream, and the two are poured in sequence so the line between them sits exactly where the collar falls. The face, the fingers and the folds of the robe are cut into the mould, so the detail holds as the candle burns down.

Burning It Safely

• Trim the wick to about 5 mm before each burn
• Burn for two to three hours at a time, on a heat-safe surface
