Premloom’s Handmade Paper Diary is crafted in the traditional Indian paper-making style, using recycled cotton rag pulp. Each diary is bound by hand, with covers painted or printed in Rajasthani folk motifs. No two covers are identical.
About the Craft
Handmade paper (kagzi) has been produced in Rajasthan for centuries, Sanganer near Jaipur is renowned for it. The process is slow: pulp is spread by hand on mesh frames, dried in the sun, and pressed flat. The result is paper with a character that machine-made sheets can never replicate.
