How It Works
The tip is graphite stone rather than a wooden-cased lead. It marks paper by leaving a fine trace of graphite behind, the same way a pencil does, but because there is no soft core to wear away it never needs sharpening and does not blunt. Roughly a year and a half of regular writing from one pencil.
