About the Craft
The deer stand is CNC-cut and hand-finished, built tall so the light sits well above the surface it stands on. The Leaf Ganesha holder is a different discipline entirely, the form of Ganesha worked into a peepal leaf, hand-painted and pierced so the flame reads through the detail. Placed together, one gives the installation its scale and the other gives it its meaning.
Vastu Tip
Ganesha is the remover of obstacles and is traditionally placed facing into the home rather than out of it. Combined with light in the southeast, the fire direction, this is an arrangement chosen as much for intention as for looks.
