Lounge Chair, Handpainted Rajasthani Folk Art

Description

The back panel is where the work is. An elephant procession in yellow, painted by hand, framed in carved wood that has been finished dark so the colour carries. This lounge chair handpainted is made by hand in Rajasthan for Premloom Envision.

The seat sits low, in the way a baithak is meant to. It suits a reading corner, a hallway, a shop floor or a hotel lobby where something needs to hold a wall without taking up much room.

It pairs with the matching low table, and the two together make the lounge set. Buying them separately means you can take two chairs and no table, or the other way round.

Wipe with a moist cloth. Dry dust with a soft brush or cloth between times.

More Like This Lounge Chair Handpainted

This lounge chair handpainted is part of our Corporate gifting collection at Premloom Envision. If you are buying for a housewarming, a wedding or a festive hamper, we can put together a set around it. Good to Know

• Handmade, so no two pieces are identical. Small variations in grain, colour and finish are the point, not a fault.
• Dust with a dry cloth. Avoid water, polish and direct sunlight on painted surfaces.
• Sold as pictured unless the listing says otherwise.
• Bulk and corporate orders welcome, with custom packaging on request.

Before You Order

• Made by hand, so grain, colour and brushwork vary a little from piece to piece. That is how you know a person made it rather than a machine.
• Dust with a dry cloth. Keep water, polish and direct sunlight off painted surfaces.
• Packed in a fitted box, so it travels well and gifts well without extra wrapping.
• Bulk and corporate orders welcome, with custom packaging and a card on request. Tell us your quantity and the date you need it by and we will confirm both.

Gifting and Delivery

Handmade pieces like this one arrive ready to give, which is why they move quickly around Diwali, housewarmings and weddings. Each is finished and packed by the same family that made it, and we despatch from Rajasthan. For larger orders we can hold stock for a date you specify and quote packaging, a printed card and delivery to several addresses as a single line, so tell us what you need rather than ordering early and storing it yourself.
