Description
The white peacock is the quieter one. Same carving, same long green tail, but on a pale body the folk motifs read as detail rather than as colour, which makes it easier to place in a room that is already busy.
It is carved in wood and painted by hand, with the eye of each tail feather worked separately and a gold crest above the head. Set beside the blue one, the pair shows how much the base colour changes the same carving.
Give it a little shelf depth for the tail. It reads well against wood and against plain walls.
Wipe with a dry or lightly damp cloth. Keep out of direct sun so the colours stay true.
