Soy wax poured into a shallow decorative urli and set with dried flowers, botanicals and sculpted blooms. Made to sit in the centre of a table at Diwali.

Dispatched in 5 to 10 days, delivered in about 8 to 17. Each piece is made to order, so we hand it to the courier within 5 to 10 days, and the courier takes a further 3 to 7. Both figures are the ones already published in our shipping policy and our product data.

Please film the unboxing. One continuous video of the parcel being opened is what settles a transit damage claim, usually the same day, and we ask for it before replacing a damaged or wrong piece. You have 48 hours from delivery. Full returns policy.

Description

The urli is the shape Indian homes already know. Fill it with water and flowers for a festival, or with wax and wicks, which is what we have done. This urli candle is made by hand in Thane for Premloom Envision.

About the Craft

Hand poured in Thane into a shaped urli with a gold or rose rim, then dressed while the wax is setting with dried flowers, greenery and sculpted wax blooms. Multiple wicks, so the whole surface lights. Every one is arranged by hand and no two are the same.

Where to Place It

The centre of a dining table, an entrance console, or the floor of a puja room during the festival days. In Vastu, a lit urli at the entrance is a traditional welcome.

Trim the wick to about 5 mm before each burn

Soy Wax

Every Premloom candle is poured, shaped and finished by hand by our co-founder, in small batches. No two come out exactly alike, so small differences in colour and shape from the photographs are part of a handmade piece.

Good to know

Burn on a heat-safe surface, away from curtains and anything that can catch fire, and never leave a lit candle unattended. Keep away from children and pets.

Before you buy

How long does a Premloom piece take to arrive?

Each piece is made to order. We hand it to the courier within 5 to 10 days, and the courier takes a further 3 to 7, so most orders arrive 8 to 17 days after you order.

Can I return it?

If it arrives damaged or we sent the wrong item, tell us within 48 hours and send us a continuous video of the parcel being opened. We then replace it or refund it in full and we pay the postage. The video is what settles a transit damage claim quickly, so please film every unboxing. If you simply change your mind, you can send it back within 7 days of delivery, unused and in its original packaging. We arrange the pickup and deduct a flat Rs 100 return shipping charge from your refund, and no video is needed for that. Pieces personalised with a name, logo or date, and branded corporate orders, cannot be returned for a change of mind.

Do I really have to film the unboxing?

For a damage, wrong item or missing item claim, yes. One continuous video, starting with the parcel still sealed and showing the labels, then opened without stopping the camera. It is the only thing that settles quickly whether a handmade piece was broken in a courier network we do not control, and with it most claims are agreed the same day. A fault in the carving or the finish, which was ours before it was packed, only needs photographs.

Who makes these pieces?

Artisan families in Rajasthan that we work with directly. The candles are hand poured in pure soy wax by our co-founder in Thane.

Can you put our company logo on a piece for corporate gifting?

Yes. We take bulk and corporate orders with custom branding and GST invoicing. Branding on brass is single colour, and on a curved piece it sits better on a base or a small plate than on the body.

Do you ship across India?

Yes, through registered courier companies and speed post. Shipping is free above 1,999 rupees.
