Description
Every puja room ends up with one lamp that gets used more than the others. This is built to be that one. This diya plate is made by hand in Rajasthan for Premloom Envision.
About the Craft
Cast in brass by metal artisans in Rajasthan. Lakshmi and Ganesh are seated back to back at the centre, and the wells for the oil and wick sit in front of them on a round plate that catches the run-off so your shelf stays clean. The finish is the brass itself, which will darken slowly with use, most people prefer it that way.
Where to Place It
The puja room, a mandir shelf, or a hallway table during the festival weeks. North-east is the traditional zone for a lamp.
Perfect For
- Daily puja and aarti
- Diwali, Dhanteras and Navratri
- Housewarming and wedding gifting
- Anyone setting up a first mandir
