The Jharokha takes its name and form from the projecting balcony windows of Rajasthani havelis, carved by hand and finished to show the grain. The Dancing Ladies piece is worked in the folk idiom of the same region, figures caught mid-movement in bright enamel colour. One is architectural and still; the other is human and in motion. That contrast is why they work on the same wall.
