Description
Five elephants, largest to smallest, walking in a line. Set them along a shelf edge and the eye follows them. This rajhasti accent is made by hand in Rajasthan for Premloom Envision.
About the Craft
Carved from a single block of Kadamb wood, then drilled through in the jali lattice the Rajasthani carvers have used on screens and windows for centuries. Each piece is left undyed, the colour is the wood. The signature of this range is that the same creature is carved again, smaller, inside the hollow body, so a second animal appears when you look through the lattice.
Where to Place It
A shelf edge, a window ledge, a console, or a mantel where all five can be lined up. They also work broken up across a room, which is why people often buy the set and then place them separately.
Perfect For
- Shelf edges, ledges and mantels
- Housewarming and wedding gifting
- Corporate gifting where five recipients can each take one
- Anyone who already owns the owls, ducks or turtles from this range

Yes, individual pieces are available from ₹150 to ₹350 depending on size. Send us an enquiry and we will quote for the size you want.
What is inside the lattice?
A second, smaller elephant, carved from the same block and never removed. It is the mark of this carving tradition.
