Coaster

Description

A coaster is the one piece of home decor that gets used every single day, and is almost always forgotten. Premloom’s handcrafted wooden coasters ask a different question: what if the thing your morning chai rests on was actually worth noticing?

Each coaster is carved from seasoned wood and hand-painted in traditional Rajasthani patterns, block motifs, floral folk art, and geometric borders that have decorated Rajasthan’s craft objects for generations. The felt base protects your surfaces; the painted top protects the art.

Function Meets Folk Art

Unlike mass-produced coasters, no two Premloom coasters are painted identically. The hand-painted variation means your set has a character that grows with your home, each one slightly different, the way handmade things always are.

Vastu Tip

In Vastu, the dining and living areas benefit from earthy tones and natural materials, wood being especially grounding. Handcrafted wooden objects on your dining or coffee table activate the earth element, bringing stability and warmth to shared spaces. The center and southwest of your living room are ideal placement zones for natural wood decor.

Frequently Asked Questions

What material are the coasters made from?
Seasoned wood, hand-painted with non-toxic colours and finished with a protective top coat. A felt pad on the base prevents surface scratching.

Are they heat-resistant?
the painted top coat provides moderate heat resistance suitable for hot tea and coffee cups. Avoid placing very hot cookware directly on them.

How many coasters come in the set?
Please refer to the individual product listing for exact set size (typically sold as a set of 4 or 6).

Are they easy to clean?
Wipe with a damp cloth. Do not soak or put in the dishwasher, hand-painted wood should be kept away from prolonged water exposure.

Can I order custom designs or branded coasters?
Yes. Custom patterns and logo painting are available for bulk orders. These make excellent corporate desk gifts. WhatsApp us at +91 9649243355 for bulk quotes.

Do they come as a gift set?
Yes. Coasters are available in gift-ready sets in Premloom’s signature packaging, no extra wrapping needed.

Why Premloom Envision?

You will find similar-looking decor in many online stores. Here is the difference: every Premloom wood and metal piece is made by a named artisan family in Rajasthan. No factories, no resellers, no mass production. When you order, a real craftsperson goes to work. The slight variation in grain, colour, or finish is not a defect. It is the signature of handmade work. Your piece will never be identical to anyone else’s. That is what you are paying for.

The heritage you are gifting

This piece is handmade and hand-finished by the artisan families we work with. We are a curator of artisan-made décor, not a factory, so each one carries the small variations that come from real craft, made to be displayed and kept rather than mass-produced and forgotten.
